a little Give and Take

This is a charity auction and it goes like this:

You can list any object that you would like to sell (a piece of clothing that doesn't fit anymore, a piece of jewelry that you got tired of, a book, a toy..you get the idea) and name its starting price. Than, the potential buyers will start the bid. The highest bidder wins the auction. The money will be transferred to one of David's accounts, and after the proof of the transaction is sent to the seller, he in return will send the package.

I see this opportunity as a win-win-win situation..the seller gets rid of something he got tired of, the buyer gets something he needs at a fair price, and David gets the chance at a better life.

The event will be taking place on Facebook, more specifically here, and will begin on February 24th 2013.

Aceasta este o licitatie cu scop caritabil si suna cam asa:

Puteti lista orice obiect pe care va doriti sa il vindeti (un articol vestimentar care nu va mai vine, o bijuterie de care v-ati plictisit, o carte, o jucarie..ati prins ideea) si spuneti pretul de inceput. Apoi, potentialii cumparatori vor incepe sa liciteze. Cel care liciteaza cel mai mult, castiga. Banii vor fi transferati in unul din conturile lui David, iar dupa ce dovada tranzactiei a fost facuta vanzatorului, acesta va trimite pachetul.

Mie mi se pare aceasta ca fiind o situatie din care toata lumea iese in castig..vanzatorii scapa de un obiect de care s-au plictisit, cumparatorii achizitioneaza ceva de ce au nevoie la un pret bun, iar David primeste sansa unei vieti mai bune.

Evenimentul va avea loc pe Facebook, mai exact aici incepand cu data de 24 Febriarie 2013.
